Signing up for a new class can be intimidating - not knowing what to expect, whether it's right for you and whether you'll enjoy it can be off-putting. To reassure my lovely clients that they're choosing something beneficial for their current fitness level, bank balance and lifestyle, I'm breaking down how the classes and courses are going to work so everyone can book with confidence.
BuggyFit

BuggyFit is a well-known nationwide postnatal exercise class, using outdoor spaces to get parents exercises in the fresh air and feeling like themselves again - with their baby or toddler safely strapped into their buggy!
How the class runs is largely dependent on the weather, the venue and how many other people are using the space however there will be a rough format to each class as below:
Meet at meeting point - these are specified below according to the park/venue
8-10 Minutes Power Walking warm up
10 Minutes Cardio Power-Up circuit using available equipment - benches, fences, resistance bands or equipment free
8-10 Minutes Travelling Power-Up - think lunge walks, caterpillars and speed walking
15-20 Minutes Resistance circuit training - staying in one space we will work through a series of strength and resistance training circuits using available equipment
10 Minute Stretch
We won't be running with buggies due to different specifications making it impossible to ensure everyone has a running-safe buggy but you can ensure you'll get an amazing workout in a sociable setting - a great alternative to all those coffee catch ups! As we will be travelling around, I can't carry all of the necessary equipment so ask that you please bring the below:
A mat or blanket for floor work
Water
Weather-appropriate clothing for you and your baby
Whatever your baby or toddler will need throughout the class
I'll be holding classes on Southampton Common and Riverside Park. The meeting place for Southampton Common is outside the Hawthorns Urban Wildlife Centre and for Riverside Park is next to the Riverside Park Car Park, towards the Woodmill cafe and sports fields and next to the cricket changing rooms.
These classes are a cost effective way to get yourself out of the house and active whilst socialising. They will be running in all weather (aside from extreme situations!) and you'll end classes feeling like a superhero! Any child who will sit in a buggy is completely welcome, unfortunately I can't allow toddlers and young children on bikes or scooters as these can create a hazard and buggyboards aren't advised due to the effects on posture and back comfort.
Classes are £7.50 with discount on bundles but everyone will receive 50% off their first booking so the class can be tried without a huge financial investment, this discount will be automatically applied at checkout on my website.
BuggyFit will be running at 11am on Wednesdays at Southampton Common and 11am on Fridays at Riverside Park
